This year AIMS have decided to change things up a little with a poetry and performance competition, where children are encouraged to submit a voice recording alongside their entry. There is an Early Years, KS1 & KS2 category, so hopefully everyone can get involved. The theme is 'Bubbles' and is based around this video.Take a look and be inspired!
There is an Early Years, KS1 & KS2 category, so hopefully everyone can get involved. All the details needed to enter are below:
Early Years (Preschool and Reception children)
- Picture/Mark making/Simple sentences
- One A4 sized piece of paper
- Based around the theme and video stimulus 'Bubbles'
- Include a voice recording of the child talking about their entry (not essential)
Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2)
- 5 sentences which can be in spoken word or written form
- Focused around the video 'Bubbles'
- Can include a picture
- One A4 sized piece of paper
Key Stage 2 (Years 3, ,4, 5 and 6)
- In any poetic format
- An original poem less than 200 words
- Based around the theme and video stimulus
- Include a voice recording of the poem being performed by the child
How to enter
Once you've finished your entry email it to Ms. Ebsworth. before the closing date of Monday 10th January 2022.
All the participants will receive a certificate for entering and if you are one of the lucky winners you'll be featured on the AIMS website as well!
