Competitive sport brings excitement, collaboration and connection, so come and join in!

On Monday 13 September The AIMS Virtual Olympics was officially launched across over 40 Malaysian international schools and is a fantastic opportunity for our students to compete, connect and collaborate through physical activity whilst we are Distance Learning.

The AIMS Sports Virtual Olympics consists of 6 events across 5 age categories and all events are open for submission (via google form) for 5 weeks, closing at 3pm on Friday 15th October.

The categories are:

  • Wall throw
  • Jump rope
  • Speed bounce
  • Keepy uppy
  • Burpees
  • Figure 8
The Olympics is open to students in all AIMS-registered schools, the 3 students with the highest score in each event, in each age category points will be acknowledged on the Event Leaderboards.

Every student submission will contribute 1 point to our school participation point total. Students can use the 'edit response' function on the form to update their score if they manage to set a new ‘Personal Best’.

Leaderboards will be updated on a weekly basis and will reflect on the event AIMS Virtual Olympics website every Monday afternoon. There will also provide a weekly summary shared with students to share highlights from the week.

KLASS Students can enter events in their own time, in their timetable Swimming lessons (at JB) or during the Virtual Olympics ECA (at EP).

We hope to see lots of JB and EP students join the AIMS Virtual Olympics and score points for our whole-school KLASS Lions team.

Good luck!
