Celebrating Excellence: Outstanding Pearson and Cambridge Learner Award Recipients

At Alice Smith School, we take immense pride in celebrating the achievements of our students, whose dedication, curiosity and resilience set them apart as exceptional learners and inspiring members of our community. This year, we are delighted to announce that several of our students have been recognised with Outstanding Pearson and Cambridge Learner Awards, an international accolade that honours top-performing students.

These outstanding awards highlight the very best academic performances in Malaysia, Asia and the world. Being named among the top achievers is an extraordinary accomplishment, placing our students not only at the top of their class but among the highest performers worldwide. Their success is a powerful reflection of their hard work, the unwavering support of their families, and the commitment of our educators who guide, challenge and nurture students every step of the way.

We are also thrilled to celebrate an additional achievement this year, with Gabrielle Lei winning first place in the GCSE Best Animated Film category, a remarkable accomplishment that saw her work screened at both the CCEA Moving Image Arts showcases at Cineworld, SSE Arena, Belfast, and Nerve Centre, Derry/Londonderry, Ireland.

Last year, two of our Pearson Outstanding Learner Award recipients, Pauline and Danish, shared their journeys and reflections in a special video celebrating their achievements.
