Gong Xi Fa Cai! As the joyous sounds of drums and cymbals echoed through our campuses, the Year of the Dragon kicked off with a vibrant celebration unlike any other! Today, we're turning the spotlight on the awe-inspiring lion dances and stunning costumes that brought our Lunar New Year festivities to life.

Let's start with the legendary lion dances. Dressed in vibrant reds and golds, our talented performers unleashed the energy and spirit of the lion. Their synchronised movements, powerful leaps, and playful swats captivated audiences young and old. The thundering drums and clashing cymbals added to the electrifying atmosphere, creating a performance that was both visually stunning and culturally significant.

But the spectacle didn't stop there! Each campus saw a magnificent display of costumes that embodied the festive spirit. From traditional silk robes adorned with intricate embroidery to playful animal figures bursting with colour, the creativity and dedication poured into each outfit were truly remarkable. Our students truly embraced the cultural significance of the holiday, representing both their heritage and their unique personalities through their attire.

The lion dances and costumes weren't just entertainment; they were a symbol of community, joy, and prosperity. Watching our students come together to celebrate their culture, showcase their talents, and share the festive spirit with their peers was truly heartwarming. The energy and enthusiasm on both campuses were contagious, reminding us of the importance of cultural exchange and shared experiences.
